Kim Victoria Cattrall born 21 August 1956, is the name of a British Canadian actor from Canada. Best known for the character in the role of Samantha Jones in the HBO Sex and the City series for which she received nominations for five Emmy Awards as well as four Golden Globe Award, winning the Golden Globe 2002 for the top supporting actor. She reprised the lead role on Sex and the City 2: Sex and the City (2008 as well as Sex and the City 2) (2010) films.
