Elizabeth Reaser has a career as an American film, TV and stage actor. Her most notable roles include The Twilight Saga (film), Greys Anatomy (series) as well as True Detective. Elizabeth was born and raised in Michigan, US. When she was a child, Elizabeth was fascinated by the idea that she could be an actress. In high school, she joined the drama department at Juilliard School and graduated with a master's degree in fine arts. She made her television debut in the form of an appearance on the cult show, The Sopranos, and then starred in a number of notable series that were successful, including The Jury, Hack, and Standoff. The beginning of her career came when she was given the role of Alice Alden, in the program Saved (2006). She then played major parts in Greys Anatomy and The Good Wife. She also appeared in films like Liberal Arts, One and Two, and the entire five installments of The Twilight Saga.

At a very young age, Jessica expressed interest in the film and television industries. Modeling was the first step in her professional career. In Australia, casting directors was looking for models to interviewed. She booked the role of 'Kiki' in the film Lightning Point/Alien surf Girls. Since then, she has been in various roles, such as Peter Pan or Aquamarine. On the Netflix Original Series Roman Empire, she played Cleopatra. She also starred on the Pirates of the Caribbean classic film Dead Men Tell No Tales. Jessica got a call from all over the world for the lead role in The Outpost. She submitted a tape of herself to the producers which contained her acting, and an additional tape of her performing MMA. After asking if she was able to do sword-fighting she promptly sent the producers a brief video. Jessica was able to gone through the script before filming her first weapon lesson. Jonathan Glassner says that her stunt team were surprised with her performance in the first lesson. Jessica's first time in the United States for a principal film part, as previous films were located in Australia. Jessica's mixed martial art and horseback riding skills and athletic abilities enable her to perform stunts embodying the character of a strong woman. In Australia she learned muay Thai and boxing. When shooting Season 4, Jake Stormoen met a stray dog that was roaming about the filming. This dog was actually an abandoned puppy who had been living in a setting. Jessica fostered two of the puppies.
